Bullying: A Zero Tolerance Policy
Good Shepherd Regional Catholic School follows the Diocesan Policy as stated on our website.
In particular, bullying of any type will not be tolerated. The principal will determine whether or not a student bullied another person. A school suspension may be issued for the first offense. A 3-day suspension will be issued for a second offense. A student may be removed from school for a third offense. In some cases, the police will be notified if the situation is severe or involves social media.
Bullying may occur in school or through social media which affects the school atmosphere.
All students will participate in a bullying prevention program within each school year. This program will be given by our school counselor.
Parents and students are required to read and agree with the diocesan and specific school policies on bullying.
