Easter Break begins at 1:00 pm
Welcome to the 4th Marking Period. This should be an exciting week for both your child and I. We will begin Zooming for Social Studies on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:00 am (I will be sending you the Zoom codes).
Additionally, we will be breaking out of our normal routine and attending some live Virtual Field Trips. This also mean our Zooming will be different this week (please see plans on the Homework, Test and Project tab on the Good Shepherd website for more details)
On Monday, at 10:00 am, we will be attending
Aquarium Live: The Aquarium’s Online Academy Episode 5 Animal and their Senses (please see plan for the link) This attendance will count as a Science grade.
On Tuesday, at 1:00 pm,
Mystery Science, Doug Livestream
Doug from Mystery Science has invited students into his home for a live 20 minute science show. He will answer real kids' questions about the current situation we are all dealing with, as well as share a few fun surprises. I would like all students from grades 4-6 to attend. This attendance will count as a Science Grade. Please see plan for the link.
On Wednesday, we will Zoom at our normal time
Grade 5 9:30-10:00 Science
Grade 5/6 10:00-10:30 Social Studies
Once again, please submit work to Seesaw I need to emphasize to the students is that ALL WORK SUBMITTED SHOULD BE TYPED. STUDENTS CAN EMAIL or SHARE TYPED WORK.
I will continue to be readily available online to answer questions. And as usual, I will continue to check my texts and email regularly throughout the day and will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for all that you are doing. Stay safe and healthy.
